“As we looked to the future of our golf club, and the golf world as a whole, we recognised that many modern-day golfers look at the game differently from the traditional ways of having a club membership and playing in club competitions every week.

If the club was going to be successful in this new world, then we recognised the need to adapt our membership categories and cater for a wider spectrum of golfers. In particular we needed a category that was more flexible and gave the member who plays less frequently, more options to play when they want to play without the commitment of a full membership fee.
